For background this is an end of service review. Home Instead SW provided approximately 8 months of services to our mother. We found them extremely caring and professional.
Should we need their assistance again this is the company we will contact. Cooking a light breakfast for the patient and family; helping the patient with showering and transferring from bed to bedside commode if necessary They staff arrive on time. I have given them guidelines which they adhere to. Home Instead have been extremely helpful with my requests needing to change if I have to go to my doctor. The person may come in an hour before I need to go to my doctor's office. I call Home Instead's office to request a schedule change and relay the info to the caregiver.

My mother's caregiver was not only of great help to my mom, but a help to me. She took my mom out and did he laundry so that my time with her wasn't spent doing laundry and running errands. My mom enjoyed the companionship and her caregiver was very kind, conscientious and dependable. The office staff was helpful and communicative. Home Instead helped my family tremendously during a sudden unexpected medical crisis. All of their Caregivers are hard-working and friendly, and most importantly willing to take constructive criticism and feedback.
More stars mean a better level of staffing per resident. I use for transportation and support to doctors and medical appointments when family is unable to take me. I have gotten along well with each one that has come out. Only thing I would like to have done is a call confirming they have a specific person scheduled so I don’t feel anxious.

For the family, this was an emotional time and expectations, like it would be for most love ones, were perhaps unreasonably high. I can't say there were not bumps along the way but with hand on heart can say Ibrahim and team ALWAYS did everything possible to quickly resolve them. Their responses with us were timely and corrective actions were always resolved to our saticfaction. The ladies that took care of our mom became friends to her and in her final days were noticeable sadden by what was to come. This is where our respect for these earthbound angels move from simply a service provider and become a blessing, to both the client and the family. He is 88 and has had a few health issues in the last 2 months. She was so helpful in helping us meet his needs. His caregiver was always on time and willing to help him for the 4 hours she was their in the mornings. My uncle has gotten stronger, healthier, and independent in the last two weeks and no longer requires their supervised help.
